Pixelmator Giveaway

Apple

This will be my 4th and final MacHeist Bundle giveaway. I will be giving away the most popular app, Pixelmator. Before I get into the deatails about this giveaway, I will give a little info on Pixelmator:

pixelmator-1.jpg

Pixelmator is a beautifully designed, easy-to-use, fast and powerful image editor. It is the ultimate replacement for Photoshop. A lot of you I presume cannot afford Adobe CS3 and I’m sure a lot of you would like to do some image editing. Pixelmator is perfect for this. It has everything you need to create, edit and enhance your images. Some people would even say it is a better solution than Photoshop. It can do almost everything Photoshop can do and it looks good while doing it. If you are a professional and you edit photos for a living… I would say you have to go with Photoshop because there is a little more flexibility with Photoshop.  But If you are just a normal mac user who wants to edit some photos or make some cool images, Pixelmator is the way to go. I do not need Pixelmator…since i have Photoshop (my brother got it for free from his company, lucky me). So since I do not need Pixelmator, I will give it to one of you guys.

Instructions to win:

1st way to win: Write a comment on this page explaining why you want Pixelmator and how it wil help you if you win the giveaway. This comment must be at least a paragraph or at least 5 sentences. I will pick the comment that I like the most.

2nd way to win: I want more traffic so that my thoughts can be heard and maybe I can make some money while doing that. In order to win Pixelmator, you have to somehow bring more traffic to my site, and then demonstrate to me how you are doing so. For example: If you would like to bring traffic to AppleIntellect by writing a Blog post about Appleintellect, you would have to write the blog and then give me the link to the site via E-mail (GabeJacobs824@gmail.com). Another example would be simply telling 5 friends… be creative. If I can see that you have tried to get my traffic, this will help you win.

In order to be fair, I will give at least a week for enough people to see the post.

Good luck.

Pixelmator is a fantastic tool, something perfect for the type of work I would need it to do. I am a forensic expert, trained during the past few decades as a counter-intelligence agent for various sovereign governments throughout the world. Often, when I obtain information that I need to post on the web but must do anonymously, I bust out my favorite image editing program to blur out any sensitive information. Unfortunately, big programs such as Photoshop are simply too slow (and expensive, even for a super-duper secret agent salary like my own). At a recent drop, Photoshop caused my PowerBook to lag and I wasted precious time trying to get the app unstuck and rebooting my aging machine (again, contrary to common belief, the salary of a secret agent sucks). This allowed enemy agents to discover me before I finished the photo edit and I was held hostage for eight months. This is why I need Pixelmator. It is lightweight and for the type of work I do, it can be a matter of life and death*.

*Disclaimer: above story is a dramatization. However, the stuff about Photoshop being too expensive/slow is grounded in truth. And by super agent, I mean designer and casual photographer.

I would like pixelmator because i cannot afford photoshop, what with it being 500+ dollars, and i really think that pixelmator has a beautiful interface. My photos could really use a professional app like this.

Pixelmator seems to be a slimmed down, yet still amazingly beautiful version of Photoshop. I remember on my PC (alright alright, enough laughing) my brother had gotten Photoshop installed. I was so interested in working with it so I could edit pictures just for fun. Unfortunately (as most likely everyone knows), it was slow and clunky. Not only that but I found it extremely difficult to learn without going through the countless tutorials. Being the lazy person I am, I didn’t want to shuffle through pages among pages of countless tutorials just to learn how to remove that zit from my girlfriend’s face! Since working with Pixelmator’s trial, I can say it is easy to use and definitely not a ram hog. This ease of Pixelmator could benefit me greatly, and is why you should choose me. Oh, that and so for my girlfriend’s birthday I can get her a beautifully remastered picture of us at Homecoming instead of some Proactiv cream.

I am a student and I make videos. With pixelmator I could make better videos. I could make overlays for gun fire and other effects. It would also just be a great app to have for photos, and banners and what not.

Pixelmator, with its stunning UI, neat filters, and ease of use, would make a great addition to my Applications folder. Right now, the folder is pretty empty. I have been using Mac OS X for quite some time now, and I am ready for the next step. My passion is photography and I live by it. Some time over the course of the recent holidays, my family decided to buy me a new camera. They knew I was excited for the cruise I would take the next week, so they decided to make my trip twice as enjoyable. I could not be happier (with one exception) with my photos now, but I would love some way to edit them in order to create a stunning iMovie project. Please help me remember my trip for years to come.

Hey, I’m Amirah, a 14 year old living in the UK. I am a complete apple addict and have a huge passion for apple. I saved up enough money to buy and iMac G5 20 inch and purchased it a couple of months ago. I’m really impressed with it and am really trying to get others in my school to switch to mac. I love what you’re doing here, giving a program that you have to use for to other it will really help. I would use pixelmator for my graphics gcse coursework and to build and put up graphics for a mac blog i wish to start up!! I would just get so much out of using this but cannot get the program myself as i just spent ALL of my savings a mac. I would soo appreciate this!!!

    Hi,

I love using Pixelmator because it’s easier and more affordable then CS3 and I’ve been using the trial and love it.
I purchased a MacBook in late 2006 and am almost done paying it off.
Lately, i’ve been trying to get started in professional image editing and video editing and implementing that into web and application design.
I’ve been home-schooled all my life and plan to take a course on photography and image editing and would LOVE a solid image editor to help me through it. Thank you for the opportunity to win a free version of Pixelmator.
