A lot of you many know the popular music search site, Seeqpod. SeeqPod is a search engine specifically for indexing and finding playable search results including audio, video & podcasts that are publicly accessible on the world wide web. Although you can listen to the songs on Seeqpod, there is no way to download the songs directly from Seeqpod.
Well, while I was surfing around, I found a way, and thats Jaseeq (OS X DMG). Jaseeq allows you to serach, listen and download songs from Seeqpod. It really is amazing. Here are some screenshots I took:

This process took about 1 minute. Jaseeq is amazing. Although it is possible it is against the law to download these songs. Although SeeqPod does not host content it encourages the adherence to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Courts have repeatedly held that the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and the doctrine of Fair Use shield search engines from liability. More information is available from the Computer and Communications Industry Association (CCIA). So it may be legal to listen to the songs on seeqpod, but it is probably illegal to download the songs…
So this is really great, but i still suggest buying your songs on iTunes for a few reasons
1) Jaseeq does not provide all of the artwork and tags most of the time
2) Becuase iTunes is perfectly legal, and im still not sure if Jaseeq is.

Wow that’s actually pretty cool. The only thing is, and i’m not sure about this because i’ve never used seeqpod, but how can you tell how good of a quality the songs are?
It’s still good to test and see what songs you like or whatever, but as for downloading I think I would stick with Limewire or torrents (although I am not promoting the downloading of illegal material).

Jaseeq is legal. What you do with it may not.
Good thing ISPs are looking for Peer-to-Peer traffic and this is plain old port 80 http.

Hopefully, that doesn’t change…
