Today, I am trying out SnapBomb, a blog marketing software platform that connects advertisers with bloggers.
SnapBomb is very similar to other sites like PayPerPost and Sponsored Reviews. It allows bloggers to get some cash by blogging and reviewing products that are associated with their blogs. There are a few things I really like about SnapBomg and a few things I don’t like.
Things I like about SnapBomb:
1) It accepts everyone.
Everyone should be allowed to use a free service. The other services I mentioned do not accept people with low traffic blogs, new blogs or blogs that aren’t updated weekly. They do this because they feel having those blogs will only make them loose money. SnapBomb accepts everyone and only limits the amount of money they get by the traffic they have. This is a much better system in my opinion.
2) It’s a great opportunity to get some cash.
Any money I make will go straight into making my blog better and more fun to read. This means I would buy logos, plugins, themes, etc., that are worth the money. For example, I was thinking about using the money I receive to buy a mint account. A mint account will allow me to get better analytics of my site’s traffic allowing me to understand better when people like reading.
3) You are not forced to write.
I will probably write a SnapBomb review every 3 weeks or so, depending on the opportunities. I am not forced to write reviews and I will not be swayed by the money. I will only write if I think you guys will like it and it will not matter how much money I would get.
4) It’s easy to understand
SnapBomb has a really easy web UI. You sign in and you look for opportunities. If you find an opportunity, you write a blog post for it and submit the link. Thats it! Your post will get reviewed and you will be payed in a months time. You don’t see a lot complication that you see in other services.
Things I do not like about SnapBomb:
1) There is no such thing as being “hired”
One thing I liked about some of the other services is the ability to get hired. This means advertiser come to you and you don’t go to them. This takes some of the work off me and allows the advertisers to set the price. I like this method a lot and I wish SnapBomb had it.
2) There is not enough of a community
As of now there is not nearly enough advertisers in SnapBomb. There needs to be more opportunities and more chances to blog. This is another reason I would like to have a “hire me” widget on my blog, so people can find out about SnapBomb and register.
Overall, I think I will like SnapBomb and I think it will help me earn a few dollars so I can make my blog better. Try out SnapBomb today and tell me what you think. Was this post interesting and relevant? Let me know.
