Everyone loves cool
screensavers. Over the past weeks, I have found some really great ones that I want to share with you guys. You can follow along with the demo I created here.
The first one is called Fenetres Volantes (don’t ask me why). This screen saver is amazing! Here is the info from the homepage
You are making no use of your windows ? FenĂȘtre volantes puts them in flight ! After some idle time that can be set in the System Preferences, the windows take off the screen and flutter in the void. On a mouse move, the windows immediately come back and stuck to their original position.
The second one is called LotsaEscher. This screen saver is mind boggling. It takes 20 painting by M.C. Escher, who is an absolutely amazing artists, and animates them to create really cool effects. What happens is, the picture zooms in and then gets to a point where you see the same thing over and over again. It is very hard to explain just watch it in the demo.
The third is called LotsaWater. You may guess, this was made by the same people who made LotsaEscher. This screensaver takes an image of your desktop (when about to be idle) then puts a very realistic water effect on top of it. I love this one.
Ok, the forth is just really stupid, but some people will love it. It’s Bouncing Cows! These cows can do filps, spins, etc. in the air! The only way to get this screensaver though is to download it packaged with 200 other screensavers. This means you will have to pick out “bouncing cow,” and only install that one.
The fifth and final screensaver is from our favorite movie, The Matrix. It’s called Red Pill. Get ready to experience The Matrix code in 3D!
Which screensaver did you like the most? Feel free to comment.
