iPhone 3G giveaways are popping up everywhere. If you want and iPhone 3G, but can’t spend the money at the time, you may want to try entering in these giveaways, just for fun. You never know what could happen and if the giveaway is free…why not! I have found 10 great, reliable iPhone 3G giveaways that are worth your entry. If you enter in them all… you may just get lucky.
1. Jake Marsh
This giveaway is by far the most popular. It hit up on digg and is gaining more hits everyday. To enter, you must subscribe to him on twitter, pownce and his RSS feed. You also must sign up for the TileStack beta program. Then finally, e-mail him with screenshots proving all of this. Tough giveaway, but it’s worth a try…
2. iPhone Alley
The guy who covered the WWDC audio stream are back. This giveaway is very simple and great. All you do is sign up and make a post in their forum. There also a bunch of rules so check them out at the site.
This is another great giveaway, very similar to iPhone Alley’s. Register and make quality post in the forums.
4. Yazsoft
No one really expected an iPhone giveaway from the makers of Speed Download, a download manager for Mac OS X. Simply enter by sending them an email. You can increase your chances by buying speed download because then your entry counts as 3 entries.
Upstart Blogger has a nice giveaway. To get a chance to win, you must link to Upstart Blogger along with a little review of the giveaway. Then just leave a comment below with the link. Easy, fun and a good way to get some track backs.
For this contest, you must have a Jailbroken iPhone and the iPhone app, iPhone Video Recorder by Dream Catcher. You must make any kind of video with the app showing the smoothness of the app and at the same time being very creative. Then upload the video into their own YouTube group and your done. There are some other great prizes to it doesn’t matter if you don’t win the 3G iPhone.
7. ModmyiFone
This is by far my favorite giveaway. First of all, there are great prizes: TWO 3G iPhones (winner and runner up), $100 Apple gift card and TWO $50 Apple gift cards. Second of all, the giveaway requirement is something I would love to do in my spare time. Similarly to the iPhone Video Recorder giveaway, you need a Jailbroken iPhone. For this contest, you must write a review of any installer app for their Native Apps section in ModMyiFone. There are many qualifications such as that you can’t write one that they already did and also it must be more than 2 paragraphs. DO THIS CONTEST IF YOU HAVE AN IPHONE.
8. F-Default
I don’t like this giveaway because it involves donating $2 and it probably won’t even happen cause there must be 150 entries or else it’s not going on. He obviously want 150 entries so he can make money of the giveaway. This is not how a giveaway should be held and most likely won’t even happen.
9. Towleni News
To enter this contest, just make a facebook account if you haven’t already and then attend this event. Easy, simple and sweet.
10. Mactropolis
Here is another big giveaway that I really like. Mactropolis is a Mac blog and forum. The site leader posted this thread:

Jake Marsh said he knew people inside Apple and AT&T that will help him out, but I don’t know about the others… Maybe Apple will offer some sort of gift package where you can send the iPhone to someone who can then activate it however they want.

Yea The sounds like it might work. Has there been any new news on the eligblity on the iphone 3g. They still havent released information on weather or not a non iphone exsiting customer can get the new one have they? Like if you not elgble for an upgrade? The reason i ask is that my girlfriend can get an upgrade till october and she really wants the iphone but not at a unsubized price like 500 or what ever. Any new info on this? anyone?
